Happy Father’s Day and let’s celebrate all the wonderful things that dads do, including buying us clothes (or just giving us money for clothes). This post is dedicated to our loving dad as he dared to do the impossible: pick clothes out for two fashion-loving girls. Walking past Zumiez one day with our mom, my dad spotted a Paris tee in the window and immediately thought of us. Since there are two of us and we couldn't be fighting over one shirt, he decided to pick out another one printed with a Muhammad Ali quote. So he came out with two men’s XL t-shirts from a skater store for his twin girls, and as appreciative daughters we decided to style the tees the fashion girl way.
Kasey:
I was lucky enough to wear the handpicked "Paris" shirt. I love denim, but hate jeans, so I tucked it into an embroidered denim skirt. I recently saw a picture of a Chanel chain belt and recreated the same look with two long chain necklaces. To complete the outfit, I added some unreasonably large funky earrings.
Kaity:
I am wearing the "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" tee which is layered over a vintage silk slip from Marmalade Underground. I'm the edgy girl, and it was raining, so I brought out some over the knee white patent boots (they're considered water resistant, right?).
So thanks dad for everything you do, including being a stylist (sort of).
